• This pull up leather is a semi veg-tanned, top grain hide with a corrected base, designed to create a vintage look through the use of waxes and oils. The finish produces the classic “pull up” effect — lighter tones emerge when the leather is bent, stretched, or creased — adding natural depth and character over time.
• The surface is smooth with a slightly waxy hand and subtle matte undertone, offering a balance between structure and flexibility. The corrected grain provides a uniform texture, while the semi veg tannage gives it a firmer temper than full chrome tanning, without sacrificing pliability.
• Drum-dyed for even color penetration, the hides hold their tone well when flexed. At ~20 Sq Ft per side, they offer ample cutting area for larger projects. Pull up leather is highly durable, cuts cleanly, and is well-suited for goods that will develop a worn-in patina with use.
