Start a ReturnReturns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. After that, the order is final.
Items must come back as shipped — unused, uncut, in original packaging. Leather that's been cut, marked, or damaged after delivery can't be returned.
Everything is returnable unless marked Final Sale — currently scrap, swatches, clearance, sale items, and custom projects. Mix-ups or weight disparities on these orders? Contact us — we'll always look into it, but returns won't be honored.
A 20% restocking fee ($10 minimum per order) applies to all returns. It covers our original outbound shipping and your prepaid return label — no separate shipping charge to you.
We email a prepaid return label once your return is approved through your account. Items sent back without an approved request won't be accepted.
Once we receive and inspect your return, choose a refund to your original payment method or store credit. Processed within 5–10 business days of receipt — often sooner. Your bank may take additional time to post it.
Defective, damaged in transit, or wrong item? Email contact@tannerynyc.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos — free return, full refund, no restocking fee. After 48 hours, claims follow the standard return process and the restocking fee applies.
Leather is a natural material. Grain shifts, tone variation, range marks, healed scars, and minor surface character are not damage — they're the nature of real leather. Pre-cut dimensions carry a slight tolerance and color may shift subtly between dye lots; none of this is grounds for return. Need to confirm exact tone or finish? Order a swatch first.
Log into your account, open your order, click "Return items," select what's going back, choose a reason, and submit. We'll review and email your prepaid label within one business day.
Fastest path: return the item you have, and once accepted, place a new order for the replacement.
Orders shipped into the EU may be cancelled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. Same condition rules apply — unused, uncut, original packaging.
