Natural vegetable-tanned tooling cowhide in a raw, undyed finish. Its firm temper and clean surface are made for carving, stamping, wet molding, dyeing, painting, oiling, and burnishing.

This 3–4 oz full side averages approximately 25 sq. ft. and holds crisp impressions when properly cased with water. With use, sunlight, and finishing, the natural surface develops a deeper color and rich patina.
